ADULTS AND ELDERLY

The project is designed to clearly outline its aims and objectives, specifying operational details such as how the project will function, the activities it will undertake, the frequency of weekly sessions, the duration of each activity, and the overall timeframe. These details ensure transparency and effective planning for all participants

The initiative emphasises the importance of spreading awareness about the business and its services. This includes highlighting the unique selling points and implementing an advertising and promotions plan to reach a broader audience and encourage participation

The project has a defined operational structure to guide its activities and ensure that all objectives are met efficiently.

It can be argued that many of our community, young and old alike, at some point feel isolated.  The benefit of this Project is that it can enlighten these same individuals about services within their community, presently, and more importantly, for their future. Addressing Isolation in the Community. Many members of our community, both young and old, experience periods of isolation at some stage in their lives. This Project offers an important opportunity to illuminate the available services within the local area, helping individuals become aware not only of what is accessible now but also what can support them in the future By fostering greater awareness, the Project aims to reduce feelings of isolation and empower individuals to engage more fully with the resources around them.

Understanding Health and Well-being "Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity." — World Health Organisation (WHO, 1948) Well-being should be considered a positive state, rather than simply the absence of illness. The concept frames health as a goal to aspire to, and as a valuable resource for everyday life, not merely the end objective of living. This perspective, outlined in the 1986 Ottawa Charter, underscores that health enables individuals to live well and actively participate in society. Attaining and maintaining health is therefore one of the most important roles each individual can fulfil.

PROJECT 1A
Children & Young People – Age 11 – 18 years
ART & CRAFT: Sketches – Drawing -Painting – Murals MUSIC – Contemporary – Classical – Pop – RAPLEISURE – Table Tennis - Snooker Work Experience Work experience refers to the practical exposure a person gains while working in a particular field or occupation. Typically, this term is used to describe volunteer placements, especially for young people or students, which aim to introduce them to professional working environments. These placements are generally unpaid, although travel and food expenses may occasionally be reimbursed. Upon completion, participants are often given a character reference as an acknowledgement of their contribution and conduct during the placement. Trainees benefit from opportunities to network and establish professional contacts with existing staff, which can be advantageous when seeking future paid employment. In highly competitive sectors such as television, politics, and journalism, employers usually require new entrants to complete a period of unpaid work experience before securing paid positions.

 Pa
thway Apprenticeships are designed to support individuals who have recently finished school or are unemployed and wish to pursue hands-on training in a trade, rather than continuing solely with academic education. These programmes provide an alternative route, enabling school leavers to acquire practical skills and experience that are directly relevant to the workplace. Training Pathway: The training pathway typically starts with further education, such as NVQ Level 2 qualifications, and progresses towards more advanced apprenticeships and work placements. This structured approach ensures that participants gain both the theoretical knowledge and the practical skills necessary for success in their chosen trade or profession.
